Spent an absolutely romantic and fabulous 8th anniversary in the Jesse James Hideout at Logan’s excellent Anniversary Inn. Would recommend to anyone. Having a hard time getting my mind back on work today, especially after filling out mind-numbing reports regarding how I spend every second of my time for the University. Blah.

Saw confirmation on the alias listserv (and then ABC’s site) today that Sunday night’s episode was pulled due to the 7th game of the world series. “The Indicator” will air next week… As much as I enjoyed the season 2 premier, I wasn’t looking forward to it Sunday night.

That’s all for today, but to mention that my folks are visiting this week, and we’re having an awesome time. More tomorrow, when hopefully I’ll be thinking productively again…

Hello World!

So I am actually going to start blogging regularly. And that’s a threat, not a promise. My posting will be in the form of brief notes, a diary of sorts. If you want to read extended rants, you’ll need to head over to my academic page where things like that live. If I manage to do a decent job of writing, I’ll eventully do away with the annoying ad at the top of the page. =)

Today is my 8th anniversary. You can say hello to Elaine, the best thing that ever happened to anyone, over at my non-academic personal page. Man…. she’s beautiful. Makes me happy just looking at her picture.
