Let me add my voice to the chorus of congratulations! It is great to hear that you're able to pursue a professional advancement opportunity that extends and expands your work in OERs.

Your clarity of thought and dedication to education (higher and secondary) consistently comes through and BYU will be the better for it.

Moving places seems to be in the air at the moment so in the midst of dislocation and turmoil I'm reminded of John Maeda's Laws of Simplicity - the first and last are most prominent in times like these:

Law 1 - The simplest way to achieve simplicity is through thoughtful reduction.
Law 10 - Simplicity is about subtracting the obvious, and adding the meaningful.

Best to you in your new situation.

Congratulations, too!! I was searching for your new work and I´ve seen that you will continue in Utah. I´ve already seen that your faculty will be "instructional psychology and technology", so we will work in the same area. I hope that perhaps in the future we could collaborate in any interesting project. Luck in the new job!! A lot of kissess.

I can imagine that must have been a tough decision in some ways, but I'm sure you'll continue to do great work wherever you are. The seeds for increased open education have definitely been planted all around BYU, but it will be interesting for me to see how they now grow and what shape they take. Congratulations.
