		<description>Ah, Dr. Wiley, so good of you to chime in.  I think you&#039;re confusing the underlying &quot;mechanism&quot; of how we, as humans, are able to interact with our environment, and how we are able to assertain complex understandings.  Not that I disagree with schema theory, because I don&#039;t, but rather that instructional technology should have loftier goals than simple message design.  I would also argue that games for instruction have failed not because they didn&#039;t have proper message design, but rather that the game-related activity is not aligned properly with the learning objectives.
