Interesting version of linguistic Deconstruction really. Very Derrida. However I find the 3 word phrases to be too short to really influence my reading.

I would argue that this type of mixing (whether its RE or UN) happens when fans/critics make their own music videos, attributing unintended image references simultaneously to the original music. How different does this make it from REmixing? I'm not sure.

UNmixing suggests a reversion to a previous or primary condition. But that's not what's happening here, or anywhere. All communication is reference with no prime meaning. All communication could thus be considered a REmixing.

^All in my humble ever-changing opinion.

Perhaps a future version of the script could have some leeway in creating the phrases if the phrase in question doesn't show up in search results and/or shows up in a copy of the original document. For example, the phrase "twentieth-century double blunder" shows up only in copies of Remix, leading to somewhat of a paradoxical reference.

I look forward to future installments.
